Even nicer with horns. More and more difficult to find, nowadays.   (It's a funny photo, but actually a very unflattering photo. Because cows have much more beautiful eyes and faces, at least where I live.) (Alps)

35mm SL APO is a pretty nice lens, F2 and iso50. I find it sharp into the corners and the close focusing is really impressive

the pine needles are crazy sharp in the full size version of this, I can just imagine what this lens would be like on a S1R with 47MB and IBIS, happy with the bokeh too

Very pleasant bookeh; and certainly in a completely different league compared to the (for me) very busy/nervous bookeh of the latest incarnation of the 35mm Lux-M...

Yeah the bokeh is nice, I gotta say not having owned the 75 or 90 summicrons I didn't realise how sharp these lenses are, I cannot get over this 35

Of the primes, I have the 75SL. Simply fantastistic in my eyes. I guess the SL Crons define a new era in consumer optics (possibly even compared to optics in military and science).

"under construction" for month now - but this time not that kind of boring thing as always ( to my point of view)

Incredible clarity of 35mm SL Summicron, this is about a 100% crop taken with SL.

Hello all,
I have a Leica SL and the 24-90 zoom.
On a different thread on this forum, I asked for some opinions and advice on a couple of different 50mm lenses I was considering.
Well, I decided on the Summilux M 50mm 1.4.
It just came in today, and I snapped a few shots on the way to the dog park.
Enjoy!
