Iduna Posted October 17, 2015 Share #1 Posted October 17, 2015 Advertisement (gone after registration) That day in early october started promising with a cold temperatures, clear air and a golden light. I decided to roam ina nearby park on a hill in my hometown. Light was gorgeous so I could not make up my mind and processed a bw series from those pictures which were being planned as such. Suede Posted October 18, 2015 Share #8 Posted October 18, 2015 Wonderful photographs. I love the black and white rendition; even more when it is contra-jour.

Iduna Posted October 19, 2015 Author Share #14 Posted October 19, 2015 oh well, so much feedback, thank you all very much: Suede, thanks a lot for your support. I more and more think that bw can be so rich and exciting. If I am right, it becomes more popular now even and I am happy you like the rendering. DES, thank you for stopping by and commenting. Hunebed, yes, you are right, at that time in the morning there was nobody there -pure joy. Steve, many thanks. Light and shade, all the rest is imagination. Bob, yes, I knwo what you mean, many thanks for your nice comment. Dee, oh, this is nice, thank you so much. I am happy if you like my approach. Sometimes there are hours where light is just inspiring. It becomes more difficult when to deal with normal situations.

david strachan Posted October 28, 2015 Share #17 Posted October 28, 2015 Iduna, I keep coming back to look at these images. The first is my favourite (I think), but very much like the toning in the others. Dave S
Iduna Posted October 28, 2015 Author Share #18 Posted October 28, 2015 Dave, thanks a lot for your feedback. Sometimes shooting is just an entire pleasure and is easy if there is that moment of magnificent light. On other days you come home after a tiresome effort to get any frame at all when light is dull. I am happy if you like this series.
