Thank you so much, Rog. I'm sure that Mondrian, in his travels, must have visited these cinqueterre villages at some point and gained at least an affirmation that what he was expressing on his canvases were, although abstract, indeed something from life. Much like your own work, as above.

We'd been fortunate enough, earlier in our recent trip, to see some of Mondrian's work here: https://www.lesbauxdeprovence.com/en/agenda/expositions/from-vermeer-to-van-gogh-mondrian/ and also in the Granet Museum in Aix-en-Provence.
