Very nice, you must have had a good time walking that area!

Adox CMS20ii in Adotech iv rated at iso6, no filter.

A very fickle film but when everything falls into place with CMS20ii there's no other black and white emulsion like it for outright resolution and excellent tonal separation.

I always appreciate your beautiful landscapes. Very inspiring!

Such a delicate sense of detailed layering that creates a feeling of natural framing and depth, particularly with shadowplay on the right.

wonderful, Phil! I had just assumed you were shooting slide film. How you got that much out of even Portra is amazing!

Thank you very very much, Christoph, Rog and Ken.

We did enjoy all our walking in Europe during our 5 week stay, thank you Christoph. Much of it was done along the Via Francigena, along which of course you photographed for your magnificent Blurb book.

Thank you sincerely Rog. And thank you also for your (separate) nod to Gordon Mortensen, an artist new to us. We are now looking to maybe acquire one of his brilliant reverse woodcut prints.

Thank you, too, Ken. I find I'm continually trying to improve my scanning and post-production technique. The best thing I've found to eke out the most in color - and this works with slide and print film and also with digital - is to convert to the LAB color profile, and then re-convert after doing a curves adjustment there. There are plenty of videos detailing various techniques around that, though I stick to the most rudimentary ones.
