I would expose at 1/15 f/2 for extar.   The offices would come in perfect exposure and the outside would come dark, close to if not back, creating a lattice effect overlaid on the office. Try one like that, I think you would like the result.

Thanks for the tip, Steve.  My lens only opens up to f5.6.  And in any event even that would be too open as I would get soft edges.  I really need to stop down to at least f16 to get good sharpness from edge to edge.  I think the use of the Provia would, with its compressed latitude, darken the shadows almost completely while allowing for a bit more shutter speed.  I will keep trying...

I know the 400 iso speeds in my head and adjust from there .... indoors bright light is generally 1/60 f/2 so going to 100 ISO with f/16 for sharpness is just a matter of math ... you will obviously still need a tripod and to be concerned about reciprocity ... in the end the point is that what's interesting is what's in the building not the architecture so expose for what's inside ..... BTW I read that Kodak begins beta testing 120 Ektachrome in July, perhaps by year end??????????????  :-)!!!!!!

I think you have a marketing opportunity, Klaus: black T-shirt with yellow letters--FILM IS OUR CANVAS!

Thank you Rog; if I hit it lucky, remind me of transferring the cash-back. And a free T-shirt !  Yellow on black seems the only possible combination --it sprang to my imagination immediately. Why is that?

Was offline a couple of days due to a seminar I had to attend-and  a minor problem some Jaguar-driver had with my car on the autobahn on my way home... So I had to catch up with the thread and just went through the last 10 days --you produced outstanding works again. It´s really amazing. The blue box (es) and the moments hinges  unhinges are just from my favorite color palette..

Certainly a flair for the cinematic, and I just love what you do with the background.

I can only envisage a constant high pitched tinnitus like electrical hum, pretty grim eh :)

EeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeUHeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!

The tinnitus theme song of the circus in my head. Maybe this is a marketing opportunity if you think about bundling an MP3 with your photographs.  Very artistic.  Come to think about it, Katrien De Blauwer released her Stills book bundled with a soundtrack on vinyl by Danny Clay.  She is a collage artist but the critics call her a photographer without a camera  and compare her minimal style to Antonioni.

This is fantastic, Philip. Took me a moment to work out what was going on... a sense of mystery pervades... striking and compelling.
