luigi bertolotti Posted September 17, 2012 Share #2 Posted September 17, 2012 (edited) Being the lens of your FED a 50mm f 3,5, I think it is the well known Industar 22, a retractable lens which (externally) is a copy of the Leitz Elmar 5cm f 3,5 (internally, it's more a Zeiss Tessar copy), with the front ring that has a 36mm diameter : in this case, one can mount the Leitz filters that are identified as "A36", which are fitted with a retaining screw : they exist in many colors and are quite common and easy to find : all the international dealers of old Leitz equipment have tipically many of them (some names : Leicashop, Red Dot Cameras, Kevin cameras...) : also, searching in ebay for "Leitz A36 filter" surely returns many items for sale (I quickly found 44 answers) I think the Leitz A36 filters are easier to find than the original URSS-made... (which too were 36mm diameter, but without the retaining screw, I seem to remember) ; maybe, as the Elmar, the Industar 22 could mount also the tiny filters that can be screwed on the front element (19mm diameter, still made by Waltz) ... but I am not sure, and they can be more difficult to find than A36 ones, I think.
