New Firmware for M8 and M9???

Recommended Posts

I see that Jaap has apparently been appointed as a Moderator. Dang! I often wish for that super power!

I'm being very active in some other threads but am also busy using my fetishist Really Right Stuff L plate , panning clamp and ballhead panorama setup

Let's see, hoppyman and jaapv have dropped out of this thread... Hmm.

Jaap(v) was a god before he became a moderator:D

It does mean he has less time for filing of teeth to the chagrin of his dental clients.

Wow! dead thread, thought someone would have been able to give is a few hints anyway? Its' not a national security issue ya know.

True, but an NDA is an NDA.

(I didn't apply to be a beta tester so no hint there.)

Pete.

To paraphrase Bill Shankly " Leica is not a matter of life and death ... it's more important than that,”

I can say that I was NOT selected. I've had the message.

Me neither. Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Leica. It's very easy. Turn Protect into ISO (like M9) and win another 4 years in office.

All just guesses, but some folks surmise next month.

Reason: Leica is assumed to be bringing out some new lenses this year, and the pundits say June is the right time to do that. It would be reasonable to bring out the updated software when or after the lenses come out.

It's coming. And soon. But maybe not.

Cool, an update for a pile of lenses I don't have ( and probably never will).
