Yes John.  I took the shot at Lakeside (Queensland) in 1967 when the car was being raced by Max Brunninghausen.

Thank you, Hector,..........one of the very best Alfas ever in my opinion and one of my all-time favorites.

For my next 'mystery car' post I'm taking the liberty of introducing a novel twist - two cars for the price of one.  Pick one, or the other, or both.........one correct answer identifying marque & model wins you the right to post your next car.

The blue car is one of a small series of highgly sought-after 'carrozzeria' designed & built examples of a production model, while some of the white car's distinguishing features are its unusual engine configuration and the fact is was designed by the same gentleman who styled the Lamborghini Countach........hence a ceratin resemblance.

Another clue to the white car.

One car was inspired by a Japanese collector who ordered two of it, 6 were made. The other car was financed by a famous musician and composer and has something in common with some modern Bugatti models.

All spot on, but I still need marques and model identification.

I have nothing to post so I'll just give a hint about the blue one: it's a front engined V12 that went out of production a couple of years ago. In the flesh i think it's a pretty car despite it's size.

Edit thought it was a 612 but it seems it's not..

The white car looks like a Ferrari Testarossa, with the side strakes. 180º V12 sitting above the gearbox, resulting in a rather high rear centre of mass and "interesting" handling.

The blue one is a Ferrari and was designed by Zagato...hence the 612 headlights....

Max was first to actually include the correct marque for the blue car, which is a Ferrari 575 GTZ - shot at the Monterey Historics.

Details of the white car in the next post, please.

The white car is a Cizata V16t, one of approx. 20 of these produced by the Cizeta Company, which was a joint venture made up of engineer Claudio Zampolli ( his initials were used to create the marque name ) music composer Giorgio Moroder who financed the project & had a hand in sketching the logo and Marcello Gandini who designed the body.

Used a V16 mounted transversely ( hence the V16t designation ) mounted  behind the seats. Engine was actually two Lamborghini Uraco V8s but utilizing a newly designed & cast one piece engine block and flat-plane crankshaft, with 4 cylinder heads and Uraco innards. Hugely expensive, big, heavy ungainly and in my opinion severely lacking in eye appeal...no thanks.

Shot at the Canepa Design shops during the car's refurbishing in 2017.

You're next, Maximillian,
