Every motor vehicle owning citizen is allowed to buy a small amount of fuel from teh junta every month at realtively economical prices. However, the senior officers and their families can buy unlimited amounts of fuel, which they resell at huge mark-up. Their customers set-up shop along most roads in Burma where they sell sell small containers (sometimes less than a liter) of fuel they bought at junta gauging prices, and resell it with a very small margin on top. 1 Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
