Rona!d Posted April 27, 2011 Share #981 Posted April 27, 2011 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Applies to this one too ?... Yes, for very rich farmers. Planned as a small series car. You can get it made of different metarials, depending on the amount of money you are willing to pay. This thing is very flexible, can be economic but can also be a monster. LuxBob Posted April 28, 2011 Share #984 Posted April 28, 2011 Is this something like a Dakar Rally car with added air vents for the air vents?
Rona!d Posted April 28, 2011 Share #985 Posted April 28, 2011 "Something like" maybe, developer says, it can be used for sports but also for every day driving or extreme travel. It is lightweight and very powerful. From the extreme data it sounds too good to be true, from the design, well, a question of taste. Due to it´s quit long period of development to the current state, the design can be called "timeless ugly". But that is my opinion.
stuny Posted April 28, 2011 Share #986 Posted April 28, 2011 Well, now we know where the engine sits, but that's not helpful to me.
250swb Posted April 28, 2011 Share #987 Posted April 28, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) 'Extreme driving' with seats like that? Is it a film prop for a low budget sci-fi movie? Steve
Rona!d Posted April 29, 2011 Share #988 Posted April 29, 2011 Indeed the seats look dangerous, but it's not a film car, it's real.

Rona!d Posted April 29, 2011 Share #990 Posted April 29, 2011 Can it fly? Funny. It has gullwing doors, maybe when you push it very hard, something will fly, maybe the doors

stuny Posted April 29, 2011 Share #992 Posted April 29, 2011 Finally a car to make the DeLorean look good. I remain clueless as to this one's identity.
LuxBob Posted April 29, 2011 Share #993 Posted April 29, 2011 Is this the low cost version? I note the lack of a paint job and the flat windscreen. the only speed I can think of in terms of this vehicle is that taken by the designer. The many air vents are still a puzzle and so it must have an unusual power plant. Cars with this sort of look are not usually green but is it perhaps hydrogen powered? Rona!d Posted April 29, 2011 Share #994 Posted April 29, 2011 It looks very "handmade" and for sure it is. The lack of colored paint doesn´t count as it seems to be a testcar. The engine system had been changed over the years. It has a "classic" rear axle drive with a big engine behind the seats. It can be also equipped (or is) with a modern electric engine on the front axle as far I understood the maker.
250swb Posted April 29, 2011 Share #995 Posted April 29, 2011 There is something about it that makes it look as ugly as Lamborghini off roaders. Steve

Rona!d Posted April 29, 2011 Share #997 Posted April 29, 2011 (edited) OK, some more background: Project started in the early 1970´s, so that could explain the design. For that time it was quit up to date;) When seeing modern desert long distance off road race cars, like VW, that design still is in use, because form follows function. This concept car project is still going on btw., so no "classic". Edited April 29, 2011 by Rona|d

Rona!d Posted April 30, 2011 Share #1000 Posted April 30, 2011 I see you are completely lost, so I think, I should tell you, that this is the Hartung Sparta Nature Made in Andorra, shown on the IAA fair in 2005 and 2009 (so I thought some of you might know it). I will check my files for the next car which will be an easy one.
