UV/IR Filter's effect on film

With B&W film there is noticeable vignetting on the 28 cron at least, and I think I noticed it on my 35 as well.

 

So unless you are shooting a 50mm lens or longer, I would swap out the filter for a plain UV one.

 

Thanks for this information. I'm shooting a 35mm lens (ZM Biogon 35/2) and already ordered a plain UV filter some days ago which will hopefully reach me soon.
