If Tumbulgum, the river is probably the Tweed, though both the Tween and the Rous join there.  I'd guess the mountain would be Mt. Warning.

Spot on Stuart - this is the Tweed River and Mount Warning, seen from Tumbulgum on a drive out from the Gold Coast while visiting my wife's family, back in 2015
