Happy Birthday LUF, Thank you Andreas and all the moderators for providing such a wonderful home for passionate Leica photographers. I have learnt so much about Leica and Photography since 2014. Thank you

My day starts with a cup of tea and a browse of the forum.

My day ends with a scotch with water and a browse of the forum.

In between I browse the forum.

I would be lost without the forum.

Thank you Andreas and all the members. Happy Birthday.

Congratulations, dear Andreas!

I joined very early on and have been visiting the forum almost daily ever since. You can often learn useful things here, but even more important is the community of like-minded people. Through the forum, I have gotten to know many Leica photographers personally. That has always been very nice, and sometimes real friendships have developed.

That's very true.

I have made some very good friendships through the forum, and particularly through the One Challenges and other meetings.

I would encourage anyone to attend meetings if they possibly can. In my experience, they always have a positive and long-lasting outcome.

Congratulations Andreas.  For the best forum on the www.

I've  been keen for the last 12 or 13 years, reading everyday.  It's definitely improved my photography along with my first Leica those many years ago.

Keep up the great admin. I love it and the friendships I've made.

All very best stay healthy.

Congratulations & Thank you Andreas!

25 years - oh boy, time flies...

I did not even have a digital camera back in 2000. Started with a 6 megapixel Nikon Coolpix S4 in 2004 and accumulated a lot of Nikon stuff until today and joined the Leica-World starting with the Q2 and M10 in 2019. We all know where this ends up once started.

The Leica Forum is THE place for me when looking for useful information about Leica gear and the atmosphere is much more relaxed as compared to some of the other photo forums (do now want to give a name here) with often aggressive attitude of some of the users.

I'm looking forward to the next 25 years and the discussion about whether the classical M design would allow to have LIDAR for manual focus assistance and IBIS at the same time in the upcoming 300 megapixel M17 which would also have the hybrid rangefinder of the M16 - and who would actually want this. 😉

Congratulations to Andreas, all the Moderators, and fellow Forum members. It's one of the most civilised places to hang out on the Internet, thanks to everyone's efforts, and I've derived huge enjoyment from it for over twenty years; long may it thrive.

Congratulations Andreas, and thanks for all your hard work. Been hanging around here since 2002, and enjoyed it immensely. And as others have said, have made lots of friends here.

Here’s to the next 25! 🥂

Afternoon, all, and very special congratulations to Andreas for fighting the good fight in the early days and for turning something niche into something amazing.  It's been a while since I dropped in but I'm delighted to see so many familiar faces still here.

Greetings to all and Happy Birthday Forum!
