pedaes Posted Wednesday at 01:52 PM Share #2 Posted Wednesday at 01:52 PM Loading as I type. I always think there are fixes they don’t mention that encourages me to update even if not particularly interested in headline fixes.
M11 for me Posted Wednesday at 01:56 PM Share #3 Posted Wednesday at 01:56 PM Check here: The Release Notes https://leica-camera.com/sites/default/files/EN_-2.5.1--M-Family-Release-Notes.pdf The best thing is anyway to always be up-to-date with your firmware-versions.
wolan Posted Wednesday at 02:06 PM Share #4 Posted Wednesday at 02:06 PM Hi, I have downloaded and installed the new firmware. I was so fast that I did not check which version I had in camera. If I look at my Downloads folder, the previous one I downloaded was the 2.2.1, back in February, did I miss anything in-between? I have M11M Thanks. scott kirkpatrick Posted Wednesday at 02:15 PM Share #5 Posted Wednesday at 02:15 PM Yes, there have been many versions, at least one publically released. I've loaded and quickly checked this new version in M11, M11-D and M11-P, and I see there is an M11-M owner who is up to date as well. No new problems reported and some old ones gone. Is it like with Nikon that the latest firmware contains all the previous ones? Thx

Thx I'm hoping that's the case. I haven't updated in about 2 years. Considering doing so now that the camera is freezing every once in a while. Silver M11, purchased new a week after release. Maybe 15 minutes for M11 (64) and 75 minutes for M11P and M11M (250). I have M11M but never used the internal drive, so I’ll leave well alone.
