the title alone confirms this is stupid trash clickbait geared to get views. save yourself the minutes.

The bl***y fool even goes on about resistance against Leica for adding IBIS and a flip screen. Vlogging about M.? IBIS? Flip screen?  Stupid trash clickbait indeed.

Best of both+1 worlds 😉.. So let's name it QCL-M and all of us are happy, will buy it and Leica will be happy too😂

Even better, just make a new CL with a modern aps-c sensor and IBIS. It would be a perfect camera, even too good for travel photography. That's why Leica will never make it...

Obvious solution is to leave off both rear screen and fit no viefinder at all (might also have to leave off the hotsoe to remove temptation to fit an external OVF) and market the camera as being utterly purist with no distractions. Imagine the tantalising wait before downloading cards onto a computer to see if you have anything remotely worth looking at.

It probably makes more sense to have a M mount on a Q than to put an EVF on an M.

Er . . . so where do you put the shutter?

All these silly rumours and pointless speculation.  I know for certain what is coming next: a SL3-S Reporter with a Monochrome sensor and no rear screen.

How about register distance? Could a Q have the same register as M cameras with M lenses? It would need a thick adapter i suppose and M lens users have no reason to endure such unwanted accessory. Rather keep the simple idea of an M camera with the RF replaced by an EVF, as suggested since the beginning of the EVF-M project. The EVF-M could use the roller cam of M cameras for focus magnification this way.

And one could allow download of the files after a wait of one week to reduce the pace.

I’m sure that far more users would want the adapter if the price were tripled.

Maybe you take the lens cap off and then put it back on, real fast...

Electronic shutter is a better solution, even with its rolling shutter effect.

Lartigue famously thought so with his 1912 racing car.

I'm not so sure; even trolleybuses look speedy.

GXR-M-module electronic shutter mode ( camera inverted to get the read-out tilting to the right ).

Only if it has a global shutter 🤔

A stacked sensor is sufficient. It exhibits the same rolling shutter effect as the mechanical shutter.

Indeed.

The shutterless Nikon ZR is generating far more positive comments than other shutterless attempts at M sized full frame camera such as the Sigma Fp and Lumix S9.

It uses a semi-stacked 24 Mpixel sensor, and has IBIS; though lacks an EVF.  Z6II is the more stills friendly EVF offering. The question needs to asked why the SL3-S not hold out for this sensor or the larger also semi-stacker S1II sensor.
