framemymind Posted January 2 Share #2 Ā Posted January 2 (edited) Godox / Flashpoint (Adorama brand) also offers the iM30 on-camera flash which is cheap and fun to use.Ā I have two of them and sometimes use them in slave mode. One as key light the other one as fill. Ā regards Peter Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Ā Welcome, dear visitor! Luke_Miller Posted January 2 Share #3 Ā Posted January 2 (edited) What is old is new again.Ā While the style is new the functionality is that of the early film hot shoe flashes. Worked great then. Should work well now. Nice product. Edited January 2 by Luke_Miller

I like the idea of being able to rotate the head 90 degrees on the iA32.Ā I'm relatively intolerant to on camera flash but that could be interesting.Ā Ā

As you can instantly see what the flash does you donāt need ttl that much. I only use it if I need less flash power > then the speedlight takes over and adjust the power šŖ > but for this I have some scotch tape that I put in front of the light and then I can control situations where I am close to subjects.Ā

stuny Posted January 4 Share #9 Ā Posted January 4 I too like the idea of being able to rotate the head 90 degrees on the iA32 - the last time I used flash on camera was with my old D2 with its rotatable head, long since replaced.

Great Ā Hey Leica Boy,Ā Ā you can use all 2,4 MHz speedlights and strobes form Godox with the Leica Trigger (Xpro II L) Ā And the X3 L trigger too. I have the sf 58 from leica but I find the godox v1 to be better. I use ttl flash in the hotshoe for unpredictable and changing lighting for parties and similar for when people aren't stopping to poseĀ

And I am not shure if you need the O or P version. You need to test this in a shop. Thatās what I did with the V350.Ā I found most of the time the speedlight delivers enough light.Ā Ā I even get down to the IM30 because itās enough light and it only need to be bigger.Ā I mean the size of the lamp so that light distributes nicer.Ā Ā So find a shop and test the speedlights maybe š¤?Ā cheers PeterĀ
