Those who have ordered and received but M11-P.

Is it "easy" enough to get hold of? or Is it like the Q3 ? ..

I've been offered one and don't really know if I should say yes or no.

Does anyone have an idea about delivery here in Europe ?

If it's only a relatively short time before the next shipment, but if it's 6-12 months before the next shipment, I don't "dare" say no...

Buy it if you want it. Don't let yourself be stampeded by Torschlusspanik. It is always the same with Leica:   First a batch, then a period of relative scarcity and a frenzied buying mob, after a few weeks the market stabilizes. It will make a nice Christmas present.

I would suggest to call around to a few dealers in your area and ask them this question. Heck, put yourself on a few lists and before you know it you'll have one.

I think you might be right, Jaap, A pretty nice Christmas present for myself. 🫣

Maybe my wife can borrow the Q3 then... 😉

But seriously. It's a big decision for me.

If I buy M11-P then:

M-D and M11-P and Q3 (Leica ME (M9) to be sold (with new censor) will be what I have in Leica.

Because I simply cannot afford two different mount system cameras in Leica brand, if I have to get a new M11

I'm super happy with my M-D but would like one with a screen if I'm going to use it for paid work.

Canon or Nikon will then be my bread and butter camera for weddings, portraits and events - Along with Q3 and M11-P.

But I think it will be an ok set 😉

I know only I can figure it out.

But  it's nice to get some good advice along the way - thanks for that 🙂

Super easy to get. Check leicas own website. They have them available now.

BH has them as well. If you aren’t in the US I’m sure others have them.

Both black and silver available on Leica UK website.  Delivery 2 - 5 business days.

I said this elsewhere, but the first-day number of M11-P's was quite impressive.  I got mine directly from Leica USA, but Popflash, who usually takes weeks more to get stock since they are not Leica, also called me only a day later.  Jaap's point is the more important question -- once the initial surge is delivered, how many weeks will it take to restock for those who need to think about it a bit longer?

Leica are no different to other non-mass market makers. I ordered a Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6k from Wex after it was launched. I was promised one for delivery after a couple of days, it arrived several weeks later. They said I'd received the last of a first batch of seven the (national) dealer had been sent, and the next delivery would not be till the new year.
