payasam Posted February 12, 2012 Share #563 Posted February 12, 2012 You must change either the strap or the button thingy: they do not match exactly. On Monday Don Goldberg will despatch my M6, which has had a finder "upgrade". I have painted the red dot that Leica sent me at no cost and am now debating whether to leave it black on black or make it silver on black.
amyukie Posted February 12, 2012 Share #564 Posted February 12, 2012 lol, I like it. it is a personal thing man... you cant just say "you must" silver on black would make more sense.
payasam Posted February 12, 2012 Share #565 Posted February 12, 2012 Maybe black on black will make more sense to me: sense too is a personal thing, and I have every right to be an ass if that is my wish.
philipus Posted February 12, 2012 Share #566 Posted February 12, 2012 Camera porn I'm all in favour of red on black and love the red details on my M6 BP. But why do you have a black dot on this one?
amyukie Posted February 12, 2012 Share #567 Posted February 12, 2012 Advertisement (gone after registration) I prefer the black dot because red paint on the red logo is not attractive

I'm also not a great fan of the red colour on the dot. I find it a bit pale. Where can one buy a replacement black dot?

erl Posted February 23, 2012 Share #580 Posted February 23, 2012 A philosophy I have always practiced is, if I sell a camera, it is gone. By the end of the first week, so will be the money I got for it. Result: I now have nothing. If I don't sell the camera, I will not have the money at all, but at the end the first week I will still have the camera! Overall result: I now have more camera than I know what to do with, or care to declare, but each one has a 'special' place in my psyche. Most still get used. Some frequently, others from time to time, but I don't need them. Currently I am using my M6's again after a long 'rest'. I think I should join Cameras Anonymous.
