Took me some time to chime in: but here is my M6 with it´s brandnew toy, the VC 50mm, 1.1

Works fine.

Best wishes

Well here is another who loves his M6. Ok this is a very new love affair because I've only just got mine. It's an early one (S/No: 17104**) manufactured in Dec 1986 with a 50mm Summicron f/2 (S/No: 37320**) manufactured in 1996. Both the body and lens are in near mint condition.

I will upload some images when I have the chance.

I also have a Leica IIIf Red Dial + 50mm Elmar f/3.5 & a Leica IIIg + 50mm Elmar f/2.8

Best wishes

Sold my M6 and 50 'Cron . . . to a friend, so I get to see the photos she's taking with it.

Everybody says you should never sell Leica gear, but I'm happy to have consolidated down to my 3 MPs.

dear obsessioned m6 users. i'm thinking about getting one as well. is 300euros more for a ttl compared to a standard m6 serial number 17.... worth the money. i like the bigger timewheel and i heard about some major developments since 2million serial numbers. what do you think. i could post links to the concerned cameras if that is not against the rules. thanks already

p.s.: the ttl is 1099eur and the simple one is 899eur.

I'd opt for the M6TTL.
