It has the usual pinpoint focusing challenges but otherwise the lens arrived in almost perfect condition. It's full of very nice different bokeh surprises. Welcome, dear visitor! Advertisement Posted July 17, 2022 Posted July 17, 2022 Hi palmerfralick, Take a look here Painting with 1955 Jupiter 3. I'm sure you'll find what you were looking for!
84bravo Posted July 23, 2022 Share #2 Posted July 23, 2022 I find that if I unscrew the lens block by a mm or two it will hit focus right on from 1 to about 15 meters wide open. You have to try a few times until you get it right. There are a number of more detailed analysis online as to why the Russian LTM lenses do this and how to adjust it. It is a wonderful lens.
