One more with m11 and 21mm SEM, handhold with E shutter
Again, one of few occasions I used 60M mode

@ZHNL Both of these images (#1121 & #1122) from your M11/21SEM combo are stunning.

Thank you Sir.

Here is one with two vertical stitched 21SEM with 20S exposure each.  I do see hot spots here and there but didn't clone them out. However, no Noise reduction was really nice that I dont have to wait twice long for each exposure especially for stitch. You don't want light change dramatically.

The lens profile for M11 doesnt work with LightRoom. I feel this is the worst introduction of any Leica Camera in term of how many bugs it has. :(

The series of images are super. Wifey thinks they are beautiful.

I did a similar set with a tiny 12mp fuji compact, once 15 years ago, outside our house on the river Thames. They were great too. Hand held ! lots of grain and dark etc.  It was the colours and mood that made them work.  I havent put them up here because they arent Leica M11s.

Qualitywise, Yours pics look perfect in pretty much every way.

For me, they remind me of the science fantasy books of Michael Moorcock or the paintings of Roger Dean from the 70s.

Before I get all gushy.

Were the two pictures left and right and you stitched them top to bottom, or were the two pictures top and bottom and you stitched them left to right? I get confused when we describe them.

Which lens did you use?

And how much time did you take in post?

Also, what do you mean when you say the M11 is the most buggy M?

Great pictures.

I had the M10M, which has 40 something MP like the M10-R, and to be honest the camera shake there was as noticeable as it is on the M11. That was the first time I noticed that in a Leica camera by the way, so if you really want to move away from that concern, your best bet is to shoot with an M9 or M10, since they are only 18MP and 24MP. I was pretty happy with 24MP, but oh well…either way 40 something MP and 60MP is not gonna make a bit noticeable difference in the results, but whereas with the M11 you can at least reduce the file size to 32 and 18MP on the M10R you are stuck with a huge file all the time.

Shutter sound —> no concern at all, pretty much the same as the M10R, too much ado about nothing.

Start up time —> it’s a millisecond difference, you won’t be able to tell

Battery —> it does not last forever, but it is better than the M10

Build in memory / USB-C —> awesome features

You’re forgetting to mention my favorite difference, the M11 has ISO 64 as Base ISO, whereas the M10 series is ISO 200. This is quite a significant difference to think about, especially if you shoot wide open a lot.

Anyway at the end of the day, if you like shooting with rangefinders you will enjoy both the M10R and the M11, and shooting both is a very very very similar experience.

Beautiful. Which profile did you use? Leica said to use Adobe Standard with high ISO instead of M11 Profile. I prefer Cobalt Standard or Cobalt Repro.

Worst introduction of the best digital M camera ever.  Now that's some irony tight there.

Thank goodness for firmware upgrades.

…..and this is a few feet to the left.   This is the Las Vegas desert in the morning.  I appreciated how the sun touched the tops half of the grasses in the foreground.  I have to say, I am amazed at the files coming out of the M11.   When I don’t have my S3, the M11 produces stunning files.

Hi thank you @perterinkingston, @SrMi, The image used default M11 profile in lightroom and was stitched two vertical images from left to right. I used leica 21mm f3.4 Super Elmar at f11 I believe. I might used a 6 stop ND filter but not sure anymore. I think it took me 10~20Min for process this image. mainly some color correction after WB, the latest lightroom AI based "select sky" and 'select subject' are very handy for minor local adjustment. I don't have plan to acquire the other profile as I feel image like these require some post process anyway. For portrait, I still prefer personal adjustment for skin tone if I like certain images. Otherwise, I shoot small raw at 18M with JPEG. I quite like M11's JPEG if I don't want spend time.

As for complain about bugs, yes, It gave me a lot of problems out of box. also many freezes. Too much to list but most reported here already, I will patiently wait for its firmware update :) but IQ wise, no complain.

I love this image. beautiful rendering.

Here are a few TTA 28mm f5.6, lovely lens, never super sharp on corner but good enough for street or photo walk. Super small and lovely with no need to focus at all if you are aware of infinity lock button location.
