While we are on the subject of camera motion artifacts in large MPx cameras (M10-R and GFX, for example), has anyone noticed that this year's Christmas lights are dominated by LEDs.  In outdoor displays these are usually powered by mains current, which gives them a flicker signal at 50-60 (or perhaps twice, 100-120) Hz.  I found this easily while walking around our Cambridge neighborhood after dark recently, shooting without great care at 1/8 sec.

So how does Topaz handle this?  If it was really smart it would re-superimpose just the four or five images where the lights were brightest, ignoring the contributions from the positions in between.

What compression? You are allowed 2480 pixels wide….

The inline previews here are poor quality, although clicking on them shows the correct 2480 file as-uploaded. Not sure why the forum software has to be configured this way since it just adds an extra step for the user to have to click on every_single_photo to see them as intended.

Not everyone is aware that you need to click on an image to get the best image quality.

And…..

In every section in the photos area there is a post called “How to post and view images” where it is explained.

The extra click is not going to rob you of your valuable time.

LOL.

This is done on how many forums? And for what reason? Modern forums don't serve up lower-res compressed inline photos. Clicking on a photo should only be done if one wants to view it larger.

Well if Nikon and Sigma contemplate using it, why not Leica? After all, isn't it the micro lens, the cover glass design and software needed for Leica lenses that differentiates.

Why, down the road, Sony might just offer an A7M version body for M-mount lenses.

First time I hear micro-prism in combination with M11.

Are there micro-prisms now we have the tecnical details and the phase of speculation is over?
