At first I thought the capture was quite sharp timing... but from the angle of the derailleur and chain your cyclist is on the slowest front chainring and maybe the second easiest rear sprocket... so perhaps just starting off after waiting for pedestrians to finish crossing? Anyway I do like your shot; it captures a multi-lane life of a far off city - far off for me as we only have narrow lanes hereabouts - sometimes just the one for both ways and that includes all the tractors 😎

No, he was going past at a fair speed, maybe free wheeling, but not from stationary - but I shot at a high shutter speed to freeze him. I caught a few zooming bikes, but this was my favourite option.

Love the look of your city (?which city?). There's a nice retro feel using B&W for the horses & carriage shot.

The shot of the bicycle kids was just in the town where I live, on the way to the train station, all the other shots were taken in London.

A few local weddings here have carriages, some of the ploughing matches have huge shires pulling old ploughs, occasionally the Western Hunt make an appearance in the village and our agricultural show, also there is an old farrier almost next door so I like seeing the horses👀 When my three weeks are up after the 2nd dose I can get out and more about once again... to put some pixels through my Q2M.

Hi Ronald, Thanks for asking. There is sharpness, but its a very thin line and only visible when opened full size in C1. The compression and file size limitations aren't helping.But......I agree fully with your remark. I probably should have stopped down more. F 2.8 was too much for this subject. I am still getting used to the sensor size which makes it extra critical when focusing. It's certainly user error and not the camera's fault. Still learning. 😉

Best regards,

Martin.
