Never thrived, there were no tall whispery flower spikes. Long ago I'd brought back an acorn -
found on a walk near Sevenoaks (Kent, UK) and grew it on, so I planted it near the pampas.
Oak now bested the pampas but still it persists underneath... so 'ere tis (Cornish dialect).
(massive crop - about a 1/16th of the full size original - much post)

Kali? (too early for Rauzan to be out at about?) Coat looks closer to the body, does the rain do that?

It's Kali. Little Rauzan comes immediately when he is called in our yard, but he isn't trustworthy enough to be turned loose in the woods. The other night there was a story on TV about bullfighting returning in Spain. Rauzan saw the bull on TV and charged across the kitchen and jumped up on the counter in an attempt to get the bull on TV. All he has to do is see a deer in the woods....So, more obedience training before the little man gets that kind of freedom.

I'm sure glad he didn't attack the TV. Those powerful jaws could do serious damage to a TV monitor.

Got myself a Q2M (again)

Nice photos.  Did you sell the M10M?

It's a shame you can't buy cameras like cars, on a PCP 😂 That would be a cheaper way to fund the changes.

It's on ebay at a very good price! I get lots of £1 final fee (or similar) ebay offers and no longer have to pay paypal fees as I use the ebay payment program - the real winner is the courier company.

Why you moved from the M10M to the Q2M?

With the M10M I only had the 28 Lux and no budget for colour camera / other lens (I spent the rest of my money upgrading 2 x A9 - > 2 x A1 + 35/135 GM)

With the M10M I used the rear screen a lot, and the 28 lux I used f8 a lot ('a lot' relative to the short time I owned  it)

I already love the Q series camera, the focal length, the operation, the versatility macro/AF/crop tool.

I realised it's not crazy to have both the Q2 and Q2M :)

selling the M10M + 28LUX affords me both the Q2 and Q2M and change..

Got the Q2M for £4100, 1 month old, 25 snaps - such a good price - just looking out for a Q2 now.
