Refer to image #2158 in the M10 Monochrom Image thread. You seem to be holding the object that was photographed in that image.

If i dare share my opinion, in the image#2158 you refer to, I see a wicker piece of deco representing a fruit, whereas downstairs (in his ottimo autoritratto 😜) who will be able to confirm or give the right nature of the item, is handling a basket made of aluminium or of an other thin metal for collecting eggs or small vegies.

Okay, I yield. But you have to admit there is a striking similarity. ;)

While not really a self portrait it is a "portrait" of me. Yes, you cant see my face but all the light is in the sky behind me, so even if I was facing the camera I still would be hidden. I needed somebody to be in the photograph and there was nobody around. So I put the camera on a wall and set the self-timer then walked in to the pic. If you look closely at the photo you will see that the camera moved slightly during the exposure. I couldn't see that on the back of the camera so Oops!

On an Acela train from Washington DC to New York.  It was dark out so my reflection in the window was bright.  You can just barely see my D2 in the lower right corner.

From yesterday, shooting in the streets while waiting for my wife and dog at the vet. Perfect chance to shoot for an hour at the golden hour. Practicing zone focus, guesstimate. To Be in the picture, is an accident. But I think I can call it a pleasant and unexpected self portrait
