Elmars, would you share the DNG file of your last posted pic ? I'm getting more and more worried about the highlights out of the M10M...

Greetings Elmars,

Would you share that pic DNG file? I'm getting worried by the highlights and what seems to me being a "shifted DR" with very little acceptable results in these highlights...

Thank you in advance !

Mr. Floyd,

Are these images straight out of camera (dng and exported as jpeg for web publication) unprocessed?

Regards,

Fabrice

He mentioned earlier in the post that they are raw and he does a few changes like contrast, sharpness but nothing major.

Correct, although this particular photo was also processed in SEFxP2 to increase micro contrast.

Ah, ok. Thank you both. Then, my next question would be. If this camera is capable of such extended tonalities, I am surprised to see that these images appear very contrasty. Now, I understand that you may prefer that, but are the files really looking like that with no intervention at all?

Maybe we can start a different thread.  Forum rules are that this is supposed to be images only with little discussion about characteristics of the camera etc.  Look around at the different threads and I think you'll find your answers.  All files are flat OOC.

The photo of the sheep above was taken Monday in bright winter sunshine, today visibility is very low due to fog.  Both processed in LR.  I'm a Capture 1 user but C1 20 keeps crashing! (C1 crashes with MM V1 files too.  Lots of support cases raised with C1)

From todays dog walk...

Love this.
