Today I published a review of the new Leica M10 Monochrom and an article covering side by side studio tests of the M10M and Leica M Monochrom (Typ 246).

Tomorrow I will be publishing an article covering side by side studio resolution tests of the MM (Typ 246) and M10M with two challenging rangefinder lenses as well as vignetting comparisons tests of both cameras with four rangefinder lenses.

Coming up I will also be comparing the highlight headroom, usable dynamic range and estimated true native ISO of the M10M and Leica M Monochrom (Typ 246).

£7250! Makes the decision a little easier....🙄

For me, the only variables are how long before they are available and how am I going to scrape together an extra $8300 USD?

A $700 USD increase over the MM246 does not seem outlandish, given the upgrades that $700 gets you...

slightly disappointed with the promo, anyone following Alan knows he shot all of those picture with a M246.
I'm not really impressed with this Leica M10 Monochrom, apart from the Megapixel I dont see anything innovative or captivating about it.

Thanks.

One nice thing shown in Technical data sheet - compressed loss-free RAW.  Bit rate for RAW is 14 bit - from Manual. Nice.

Blooper in Techincal Data Sheet - Auto White Balance, lol.

Exposure, up to 16 minutes, wow.
