These images are incredible guys, how are you finding the AF using the Sigma adapter? I'm about to pull the trigger specifically for the Canon zoom lenses....

I've now had the Canon 400mm lens for 8 months and have tried it on the S1R with the  MC-21 Adapter, SL with the Novoflex adapter  & SL2 with the  MC-21 Adapter.

Based on my personal use experience, it works best with the MC-21 adapter on both the S1R & SL2, and quite frustrating with the Novoflex adapter on the SL.

Have a look at this thread: https://www.l-camera-forum.com/topic/304615-sl2-sigma-mc-21-vs-novoflex-adapters-for-canon-ef-lenses-test/?tab=comments#comment-3876980

In summary:  The MC-21adapter on the SL2 also works with the Canon 1.4X & 2X Tele-converters, AF is slightly slower with the 1.4X TC, more so with the 2x TC, but still very usable, it locks on to focus accurately with no intervention.

Best

I have too little, too short experience to firmly conclude regarding MC-21 on SL2, and I have only one Canon lens, the 400mm f4 DO v2...

But compared to some Nikkor lenses with the Novoflex electronic adapter on the SL2, I am very satisfied with the MC-21. That being said: the AF speed, tracking, reliability and full compability of SL2+MC-21 cannot - and should not - be compared one-to-one with a native system. However, the SL2+MC-21, with the Canon 400mm f4 DO v2, appears sufficiently good/accurate/flexible for my use, so I plan to let my Nikon/Nikkor gear go.

For a more backed-up experience with MC-21, see e.g. the thread below (mostly addressing the 400mm f4 lens, not Canon zooms)

I hope sigma will start making that adaptor in the L mount. That would be great

Artin- the Sigma MC-21 is made in L mount. There are 2 versions: 1. Canon EF lens to L mount & 2. Sigma SA lens to L mount.
