Last for now - The Summilux-SL is a heavy lens compared with the APO Summicron-SL 50 and a little slow to focus but it's a keeper lens.

Great shot! I am curious to know how does the AF perform with the mc-21 and Canon lenses.

Thank you. I'm very pleased with the MC-21 & my Canon lenses on the SL2. It only works in SAF mode, no continuous AF.   Focus is accurate & relatively fast with no focus hunting. The Canon 1.4x & 2x Tele-converters also work reasonably well, albeit a little slower but still very usable.   As a comparison I've also tried the Novoflex adapter which is subpar on the SL2, with plenty of focus hunting & just about useless when you add in the Tele-converters.

Several other users here have had the same experience.

+1. The MC-21 is a great addition the L-mount system. Works very well.

...daymining...a stitch of 8 photos with the Summicron 50SL. The stitched file is 21.952 x7.558 px. Just for fun I tried to stitch the same photos taken in multishot mode, but LR refused to complete this exercise (not sure if this would work on a "stronger" computer than my Macbook Pro...). The whole day mining with 5 diggers (the 2nd from the left is the one I have shown here earlier in B&W) is feeding the powerplant at the very left. In 2030 it will be ended and what we see now will end as a huge lake...

Beautiful .

I`ve been using film M`s for fifteen years but only recently converted to digital Leica in the form of the CL.

One of my favorite lenses on my other system is my 400 DO.

I like the way it looks on the SL  ....this could get expensive  :) .
