I like the compositions, but is is too dark on my calibrated monitor.  At least the foreground is.  I like the clouds.

You are right about the foreground, although it might be something to do with the upload because it looks OK on my iMac.  Here is a lighter version 🙂

Looks OK to me on my Mac. Foreground from the shed towards the viewer looks light to me.

@Aram Langhans was commenting on the first version I posted, which does look dark on the upload but not on my iMac.  The second version looks better on the upload but too bright on my iMac.  Hmm . . . it's an old iMac and maybe time to replace! More cost 😕

It does look better to me now, but perhaps something in between the two would be best.  I have noticed that when I export from Lightroom to a jpg quite often the image gets darker.  Not sure if that is a quirk of my system or converting from LR color space to sRGB of a jpeg.  Thanks for humoring me with your remake.  Would love to see something in between if you have the desire.  It is a very nice photo.

Recent macs use Display P3 color space.  That's what I've started using in my export recipes.  I'm not seeing much overall difference between the LrC Loupe view and an exported quick view.  There are detail difference that can be seen if pixel peeping and using something like the the colorpicker eyedropper to pick out specific pixels.  I blame those differences on jpeg conversion plus the use of jpegmini to further reduce file size for web pages.

But overall, when not pixel peeping the images are the same.  Perhaps it would be different when uploading to this site?

One more from Milford Sound, a clear shot of Mitre Peak before the moody clouds set in. (Sunsetting).

Sorry if I come off as a total idiot, but if I had taken that shot, it would have gone straight in the trash. Motion blur, nothing‘s sharp, dull lighting and even 5 people liked it. Am I missing something? How does that picture show off the prowess of the Q2? I fail to see it here.
