Sorry if I come off as a total idiot, but if I had taken that shot, it would have gone straight in the trash. Motion blur, nothing‘s sharp, dull lighting and even 5 people liked it. Am I missing something? How does that picture show off the prowess of the Q2? I fail to see it here.

My Father-in-Law turned 100 this week.  I used the high speed shutter of the Q2 to try and capture the blowing out of the candles, but he was almost too quick for me to get it.

A few weeks before his birthday, he came with us to Yosemite.  He still drives and he pulled his 5th wheel.  An avid photographer, he has been coming to Yosemite since the 50's and hopes to do it again this Spring.  Here he is with his rig and another shot of him after hiking through brush and over logs to get a shot.  An amazing guy.  My wife (his daughter) and our small rig are behind his.

I couldn't agree with you more. I liked the composition and posted it before I realized that it was out focus. I don't correct in PP so the dull colors are what Cotopaxi gives you on an overcast day.  Thank you for your straight forward evaluation.

As for the five people that liked it, I think they were being quite kind as always. Thanks to them too.

Why don’t you show us your prowess and what you think is a good shot that you have taken?

Why do you feel the need to attack me? I don‘t have a Leica Q yet but I enjoy seeing what this camera is capable of. And I feel like that particular shot is not „in favor“ of the Q2 as some other pics in here that are really nice. I did not attack the uploader, I was referring to the pic that has been uploaded. The guy who uploaded it took it better than you or maybe I‘m missing the sarcasm here.

You’re missing “constructive criticism”. If you’re going to criticize someone’s shot do it constructively - you’ll find plenty of evidence here of how other posters do it.

And your reply to unconstructive critisicm is attacking the person. But you‘re right. I should‘ve worded it differently. My first sentence should have tipped me off. Will be more constructive next time.
