Truly! That’s magnificent! Maybe even better with a lot of PS or LR work. It might be worth the effort. I’d consider printing it on metal. Congratulations!

Thanks!  I did some adjustments in Lightroom, slight reduction in highlights and a boost for shadows, just to bring out some foreground detail.  Otherwise that was pretty much how it looked.

Now that I am mostly at home I tend to notice things more.  We back on to open farmland, which I had always regarded as flat and featureless, but the more you look the more you see.  Last week I woke up to a thin band of fog across the field, which looked quite surreal.  Took a quick photo (the fog disappeared within a few minutes) and I posted that in the M10 forum.  These two photos could make a nice pair printed.

Thanks for the tip about printing on metal. I’ve used Whitewall in the past and I’m pretty sure they have this option.

I use BayPhoto and have been very happy with their metal prints.

Sometimes the story behind the picture is more interesting than the photo.....

It was almost 1am and I woke up to go pee and get a drink.  I turned on my phone light so I could navigate to the kitchen.  I had a glass of iced tea already in the fridge with a some ice cubes in there.  I sat it down on top of my phone to grab a snack...hmmmmm...then it hit me...the photo artiste in me went into overdrive.  I ran for the Q2 - switched it to "macro" mode and fired away.  Imported the RAW file into LR Classic to reduce file size and now you have the rest of the story.
