poli Posted January 26, 2022 Share #788 Posted January 26, 2022 I am trying NOT to buy the the pre asph. This thread is not helping… telling myself the 1mtr minimal focussing distance is limiting. But then again it would be really nice to pair with my m-a… 😇 serious question though is €3.000 for a very good condition sample (1979) including hood kinda crazy? 1
Capuccino-Muffin Posted January 27, 2022 Share #789 Posted January 27, 2022 Why have the production year of lenses suddenly become a thing? what is a 1978 vs 1982 supposed to tell me? Curious to know

I think this lens would suit your photography and is a must-buy 😁 although I’m not sure about the price sorry as haven’t been watching recently my copy is away for work which is a shame. Can’t wait to get it back

I think the price is about as expected for a copy in good condition. I paid €3.250 for a similar lens (1979, including hood) one year ago.
shirubadanieru Posted January 27, 2022 Share #797 Posted January 27, 2022 I used to have a regular (non-infinity lock) one, in mint condition and I got it for about 3500~4000USD. I think this lens price keeps going up, so if you want to grab one better do it now just in case.

But after a lot of use, I still don't remember a single occasion where this has been a problem.
