When it comes to photography, Railways and Aviation are my passion, this shot was taken of the pensioner still doing some part time work.

Recently got a face lift, and I must say she looks pretty good for a 70 year old.

While I was shooting static subjects with the 280 APO and stacked teleconverters, my White-Bellied Sea Eagle friend showed up to do some fishing on the other side of the bay.  It was a bit far for this combo on the SL, but I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of detail that was captured.

SL with 280mm F/4 APO-Telyt-R + APO-Extender-R 2X + APO-Extender-R 1.4X, shot hand-held, about 300 meters from subject . . .

Thanks, Ken; credit goes to Leica and Mr. Kölsch for such amazing optics. What this combination can "see," whether on SL or CL, amazes me.

One more, same setup . . .

well, those are the tools that make it possible. But there is also the photographer with the eye, the patience, and the aesthetic sense to make it happen!
