I love the look of your photos. Your M9 shots are very inspiring to me. Would you be willing to share your processing technique?

I love your still life photos. They are incredible. The lighting and processing are just sublime.

Thanks!  It's so easy - just a window or anything like a pocket flash bounced off the wall. Processing is Iridient Developer.

I think you do yourself a disservice my friend.  I could bounce a flash off of a wall and spend a couple of hours in Lightroom and not be able to replicate the look you get.  Your staging is also really good.  It's all so fine art looking.  Really special shots.

Just another fine winter's day at the beach, taken with a Leica M2 and Elmar-M 2.8/50 on Fuji Superia 400.  The Elmar-M (most recent version) is possibly the most affordable Leica M 50.

I now know one reason why you don't change the base of the composition💪 unless it is a part of cinema decor in expanded polystyrene🤔

Forgive me for posting so many of these. All these photos are taken in the park very near where I grew up, and I had the strange idea to take photos of as many of the tree trunks as I could over the course of a few afternoons. As a kid I was always fascinated with the way trees sprout from the ground, and I liked these images from my M10 and a Summilux 50mm, all at f1.4. I find them very pleasing. They make me feel connected with the land where I grew up (in fact the park where I would like to spend a sizable part of my retirement, walking, thinking about family, friends, love, loss and the rest of this strange thing called life). My mother, who also used to love the trees in this park, and sometimes even painted them, died at the end of last year, and looking at these photos also helps me feel a connection with her. I doubt think they'll be very interesting to others, but I'll share them here anyway. Thanks.
