paul chiu Posted November 4, 2021 Share #301 Posted November 4, 2021 Advertisement (gone after registration) Had used a Fogg bag since 90s and only recently had the brass parts started rusting, from the rain/humidity. I have been using bags from Oberwerth, including this William since 2019. The leather is both soft and durable. You will have to put a plastic bag over it, in the rain. Welcome, dear visitor! M8X2 Posted November 7, 2021 Share #302 Posted November 7, 2021 Maybe you bag geeks can help me. I found a bag in a Hasselblad-Video that I really liked. Looks like Nylon, has a zipper compartment and a flap with velcro. The closest I could find was a Domke F5-XB but this one doesn't have a big fat logo on the flap. Would you happen to know which brand that is or which brand offers something similar? Can be viewed here around 0:35:

But what I would really like is the Mustang. Also looking to trade my 10R for a 907x/50c.

budjames Posted November 10, 2021 Share #305 Posted November 10, 2021 (edited) I used many different brands and types of bags over the years, but for a shoulder bag, I love the Billingham Hadley Pro and Hadley Pro Small. They look great, will last forever, weatherproof, and doesn’t scream expensive gear inside. Also, No Velcro! if you want to add some extra storage to either of these bags, Billingham sells the Avea side pockets in two sizes which attach to each end of the bag. I use these for extra carryon space when I travel and I can leave them in the hotel room when I’m out and about. For my SL2, I have the Billingham Hadley One. It’s the same deign as the Hadley Pro, but larger in every dimension. The same Avea pockets can be attached to this bag too. My case M10R +50, 24 3.8 +35 2.0 in one tube , 75 APO or 90 Micro 4.0 M in the other. Got a military belt from Amazon to go through back loop. You should, it's a different tool, took me year to change my way to create images but I really lie my 907x. Was shooting M8->M240 and tried the M10r but changed to 907x. MF can be beast but also a lot of fun. If size matters, you should think twice... Just a short side step...

Fits both my M10-R kit and my SL2 kit nicely as well as a combo of the two. The additional shoulder pad accessory just arrived, very comfortable and well designed for a precise fit and look. I also use the separate bag strap accessory often when hopping on/off taxis, trams, planes and other transport for quick and secure carry. This bag is one of the very few very appropriate for walk around town to no canvas bag or mountain man/women backpack allowed business meetings 😉😉 My only dislike is the pattern/colour of the cloth strap itself. I would have preferred a black cloth strap for a black bag.

Does not look like a camera bag and has enough space for my M10 with 50 Summilux and may be a couple of lenses that i might plan to buy in future. Bonus - Its water proof. Black Label Bag Penn's Pad and Pencil Satchel Bag Mark II Yes , I have one, too. Never had a problem in a light rain because the zippers are sealed. But who is that you say it is waterproof? Lukitas Posted February 11, 2022 Share #312 Posted February 11, 2022 How about making your own camera bag? During the long dark days of the last two years, eating carrots and bread to save up for a brand new second hand Leica m10-P, I stitched together this little thing : Welcome, dear visitor! Lukitas Posted February 11, 2022 Share #313 Posted February 11, 2022 Nice and small, but a little too snug for my taste... I mean my fingers. Are too thick. Hard to fish the lenses out of the pockets. Welcome, dear visitor! Lukitas Posted February 11, 2022 Share #314 Posted February 11, 2022 Now my beloved camera is mine (mine, mine!), I made another one, only a little larger : It holds four lenses, one on the Leica. With double-sided caps, I could squeeze in two more. And a battery or two. Couple of lens caps and a cloth. Made from veg tan cow leather, lined with foam covered in soft pigskin. I hope this gives someone the itch to build one for oneself. Cheers, Lukas Welcome, dear visitor! John Miranda Posted February 13, 2022 Share #316 Posted February 13, 2022 Broke down and ordered Luigi's full case for my M10-R and really like it. The detachable full cover accommodates situations where you want the additional protection or when the half case is sufficient. Quality and workmanship is top notch. https://www.ebay.com/itm/164812129887?_trkparms=amclksrc%3DITM%26aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20160908105057%26meid%3D0f06f1df74ad4b82923a4688eae4a880%26pid%3D100675%26rk%3D2%26rkt%3D15%26sd%3D125133135831%26itm%3D164812129887%26pmt%3D0%26noa%3D1%26pg%3D2380057&_trksid=p2380057.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=pageci%3A552b066d-8c83-11ec-86af-f26eaf4022f4|parentrq%3Af1495c1617e0a826dda6d5a6ffffc0a4|iid%3A1
