Trying out my 1967 35mm Summaron f2.8 with Novoflex adaptor on new Sony A6500 (APS-C). Without pixel-peeping the results look OK (ISO 1000, 1/60sec, f2.8, min focus distance).

Its surprising how many of the same titles we have in our bookshelves, Keith.

(When's the library book due back?  :D )

Pete.

In which case I will have to photograph the rest!   ;)

(Library book - not due back at all! A purchase from a US bookseller who had bought it (well past its sell-by date) from a US library).

PS - the book contains a broad range of Edwin Smith's portfolio. His landscapes are inspiring.

Dedicated to those who don't think it gets cool in Texas (7 degrees F), yesterday morning near my mailbox. M-240, 135mm Elmarit. The duck seems to be looking at her image in the ice. Ron

Edwin Smith: an excellent photographer, now almost forgotten.  And not only landscapes, architecture as well.  Used to own a book I stumbled over; unexplicably lost when I moved a few years ago (and no, I don´t suspect anybody in particular...

A dull, dismal and damp day today, so limited to another bookshelf shot with an M lens on my new Sony A6500.  This time with a 1951 5cm Summicron.  Hand-held, f2, 1/60sec, ISO 1250.

I do believe your photo is one of those that really profits from brown/sepia toning. Nice work. Regards, Ron
