Leica M-D(iscussion) : to screen or not to screen. That is the question.

The benefits of reviewing images on an LCD are pretty obvious to me.

In theory, you can consider to use Eye-Fi SD card on the M-D (assuming the wifi can go through the metal bottom plate .. I heard that M240 is OK with Eye-Fi ..). Assuming Eye-Fi can auto-upload the DNG files to your iPhone/iPad installed with Apps such as PhotoRaw (which claims will open imported from Eye-Fi cards) or Photogene .., then you could do instant review on your iPhone/iPad.

I have not try this on my M-D cause I do not have Eye-Fi SD card :)

Update: Today, I installed and tried Eye-Fi Pro X2 16GB on my M-D. I had no problem with the auto transmission of DNG files from camera to iPhone. I was also able to import the DNG to Lightroom Mobile, edit and output (save to) to iPhone Camera Roll as JPG.
