I can see from your photos that you are an excellent photographer. If I may ask, why are you putting the Q up for sale?

That's really kind of you to say so! Having owned most of the Fuji X cameras in the past, I'm not sufficiently impressed by the Q, given the massive price differential. It's lovely, but not £2000 better! Maybe I just expected too much having read the glowing reviews?

You'll regret it, Best digital leica I have owned and having been through a lot of fuji's I find the Q files to be so much better plus you have FF and the 28/1.7. But hey we all appreciate different things and your sale will make someone else very happy to able to get a nearly new Q

I'm probably going to be putting my 3-4 week old Q up for sale in this forums classifieds section this week. I'm just not loving it enough.

I kind of agree. Mine's getting it's last chance on a two week holiday starting tomorrow. I look at the images, and compare them to what I get from my M at the same time - the M is harder work but the images are in a different league.

Long time lurker first time post.

Thought I would finally sign up and throw in my queue status to compare with everyone else.

Preordered and paid two thirds of the total price on the Q 28th of August at the Leica Store in San Francisco.  They informed me to expect a wait time of 4-5 weeks.  Went back today (26th of September) and paid off the remaining balance.  I'm still getting quoted a 4 week waiting period and I'm more than halfway up the waiting list.

Good news is the Leica Store sales rep said production has been ramped up and they're getting around 4 copies every shipment biweekly.

I've only had a good hour with the Q but it felt so magical it became a must have!

Hopefully I'll get a surprise notification like some of you guys did. *crossing fingers*

My last M was the M9.  Eyesight forced me to AF and Fuji...X-T1 and X100T.  They are great cameras...but, the Q took me back to M quality with much better AF and EVF.  I hope you are not being too hard on the Q...it sure produces great images for me.

I sold my X-T1 and lenses to (help) pay for the Q which I have not received yet.  As an X-T1 user, how much better is the EVF on the Q?  I thought the X-T1 was the first EVF "I could use" and think/thought the Q has big shoes to fill in that one regard. Thoughts?

With all these people clammering for the Q, I'm wondering if Leica are putting a €1000 banknote in the box!

The  €1000 banknote option from Leica is an additional 3000.  But it does have that "Leica glow".  BTW, not trolling, just thought it was funny...My "Q" is on order...not so patiently waiting...

There are cameras to be found out there if you look hard enough.  Just missed one with an east coast dealer because I stalled a bit, and then found one this week at a dealer in Nevada.  It arrives on Saturday.  I just used the Leica site to figure out where the dealers are, then checked their websites for availability and called if they indicated that there was one in stock.  Just an idea for people that don't want to wait...

I have a friend with a Q and will do a photo walk with him next month.  We are shooting film, but I will ask him to bring the Q which I will shoot alongside my M5.

I haven't ordered yet and think that I likely won't, but I have tried the Q four times at four Leica stores and have always not wanted to put it down.

There have only been 2 Q's supplied to New Zealand so calling around isn't an option over here :( (I know this for a fact since there is only one distributor and I call them weekly!)
