Which M lenses do you want to own??

I started with an M9 and a 35 Summicron ASPH.  It soon ballooned out of control.  I have reconsidered my lenses, and consolidated to:

  • 21 Summilux ASPH
  • 28 Summaron-M
    28 Summilux ASPH
  • 35 Summilux (pre-asph)
  • 50 Summitar (LTM)
    50 APO Summicron ASPH
    50 Summilux ASPH
    50 Noctilux 0.95
  • 75 Summilux
  • 135 Elmar

That's my refined list - along the way I have owned and disposed of (and not missed) half a dozen or so highly acclaimed lenses which just didn't work for me, including the 75 APO Summicron and the 35 Summilux ASPH (FLE).  I like to think my current list will meet my needs til I don't need a camera any more - it covers old, modern, character and precision.

However, I see in the future (funds permitting):

  • 35 APO Summicron ASPH
  • 75 Noctilux ASPH
  • 135 APO Telyt

I don't need any of them ...

I have

  1. 28mm Elmarit-M ASPH V2
  2. 35mm Summilux-M V2 1981
  3. CV 35mm Nokton Classic SC V2
  4. CV 35mm Color Skopar PII
  5. CV 50mm Color Skopar LTM

And would like

  1. 28mm Summicron-M Safari
  2. 35mm Summicron ASPH II
  3. MS-Optical 28mm f/3,5 converted from the Nikon AF600 P&S
  4. 24mm Elmar-M
  5. 50mm Summilux ASPH

Will likely sell the Color Skopar and maybe the 35mm Summilux V2.  Probably shouldn't sell the Summilux though 😀.  If I could only have one lens I would probably sell everything and get the 28mm Summicron Safari.  (Maybe keep the Nokton Classic as backup.)
