A beautiful portrait.
Emphasizes its naturalness and sharpness.

Advertisement (gone after registration)

According to the advice given, I have prepared these 2 photos.

My granddaughter has to present one, I leave her 2 and she chooses.

I realize that the M8 is very noisy, even at low ISOS.

Thanks again for the help received.

Thank you, I'll have it in mind.

Dopaco,

It looks as though the M8 picture was taken without a UV/IR filter on the lens, which makes the subject's skin colour more red than it should be because the infrared reflects off blood vessels in the skin.

I hope you don't mind but I have done a very quick adjustment to reduce the redness in Photoshop's LAB colour space to show what I suspect her skin colour was when you took the lovely picture.

All I did was: take the picture into LAB colour space; add a Curves Adjustment layer; go to the "A" curve; pin the curve's centre point (to prevent also adjusting the greens); move the bottom of the curve vertically upwards a little; and mask the trousers and tablet to retain their colour.  I hope this helps you.

Pete.

Pete

Effectively it was taken without UV / IR filter.

I have this filter, but for Summicron C40 F2, and the image was taken with Summicron 50 f2, which is M39 but with adapter is valid for M8.

Better with the treatment you have given him. I take note of it.

Thank you very much for the work and the tutorial.
