I have the luck to own both silver and a black M-A. The leatherette is different. The latest MPs have similar (perhaps the same) leatherette to the one being available on the chrome/silver M-As. Every time I use the M-A (silver of black), its a pure joy. Shame the prices in Europe went up again.. nevertheless happy to see the brand still produces film cameras. Yup, the latest MP from 2019+ should have the same leatherette as the silver chrome M-A's. I heard LLL (light lens lab) is in the works of a barnack copy.
