I have the same Rally Volpe case - it is simply beautiful.

I do have one problem with the ADM cases though - the base plate inside the case is quite thick and makes the camera case a lot taller. When I take the M out of the ADM case it feels like going from holding a bare M240 to holding a bare M6. Quite noticeable!

Years ago I got the Luigi retractable Long Nose Half-Case with hanging Flap and built-in Hand Grip.I loved it. I really loved the grip. Best thing to hold the heavy Noctilux.

Now I use my Silver M (240) just naked. No case - no grip.

For handling and weight, I prefer the camera naked. The leather adds bulk and weight in my opinion. My camera bounces on my wrist and on my shoulder, it bangs around and gets scratches. When I was using my old Luigi-Case, I saw some pretty deep scratch marks on the leather, and I wondered what might have happened, if I would not have used the leather. On the other hand, I too had a lot of scratches from the stitching of the half-case. So i decided: no cover. Slim and lightweight. And live with the scratches.

I miss the grip though!

Why I dumped Luigi for Sejun and never looked back

I have subsequently bought one for my M240.

I should say that I would mainly use a case if I'm out with the just the camera and one lens over my shoulder.

If I'm taking a camera bag then I wouldn't bother.
