Tuna--I so admire your work, here and posted elsewhere. The woman in the background: a perfect offset to the Degas.

There are so many of these, but I'm sure I've seen that very one, but can't remember where. Was it on permanent display or part of a traveling show?

You are very kind - thank you!

Yes, I’ve seen the Dancer in multiple museums so can’t absolutely swear as to where I took this but it was most likely Paris - I believe it was in a glass case in the middle of one of the rooms at Musée d’Orsay allowing the woman to also be in the frame as I shot from the other side…

Rolleiflex 6002, Tmax 400, extension tube 17mm.  I set the cmaera to ISO 100 by mistake, but with shorter developing it turned out ok.

Gran Sasso d'Italia (again) - Leica M6, Summicron 35 asph, Rollei Superpan 200 (+ orange filter)

Rollei Superpan 200 is really nice. It was my first roll. I read some negative feedback online because it's too contrasty (being based on an aerial film), but overall I got nice tones even with an orange filter (-2 stops).

Ansel did it better than I did.

Is this the Snake River photo location? Where is it?

My daughters were watching a White Fang animation movie and I was like: I know that landscape ... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_Fang_(2018_film)#/media/File:WhiteFang(2018film)Poster.jpg

Used to create batik (textile art).

My first intention was to post this image in the «anything starting with N thread ». But on second thought, I decided to post it in the « I like film » thread.I must say that looking at all the impressive images created with film, my heart skips a beat or two. I began my photographic experience using film. If it were not difficult to  purchase and process film in Indonesia ( where I live), I would put the old M6 to work.

Image shot on very slow colour slide ( I forgot which one), with a 50mm Summilux, pre-asph. M6 on a tripod. The speed was about 1/4 of a second.

Classic, and wonderful colours!
