Advertisement (gone after registration)

Check the road pattern and buildings (especially the long one on the left which appears to be surrounded by two shorter buildings on either side) and the jetty. It has to be Goose Green surely?

Absolutely certain. We landed in Darwin on a grass strip, and then drove about 100 meters to the Darwin guest house we stayed in.

 

Oops! Looking at the photo again I see that it must be Goose Green, just before going a touch further north to land. Sorry.

yes, it is the USA, non of the states mentioned

 

the river is among the 50 longest in the world ...

 

the river almost meanders like the Ural, I had before, but either trough reguations or natural changes, the main river bed looks more straight....
