stuny Posted July 28, 2011 Share #225 Posted July 28, 2011 Doug - Excellent start. Where in Namibia?
dcoombs Posted July 28, 2011 Share #226 Posted July 28, 2011 Don't know, and I think I better bow out for now. Just remembered that I don't have any aerial shots where I am right now. At least people are pointed in the right direction! Doug
spylaw4 Posted July 28, 2011 Share #227 Posted July 28, 2011 Advertisement (gone after registration) That was my first reaction, and I'm bowing out for now for the same reason!

stuny Posted July 30, 2011 Share #229 Posted July 30, 2011 Nothing ? I thought the red sand would help. How about not far from here is a huge red sand dune (365 meters tall) which people climb (with difficulty - it is sand), and then slde down. a.j.z Posted July 30, 2011 Share #230 Posted July 30, 2011 This appears to be the dune called "Big Daddy" If this answer is correct/sufficient, I invite somebody elso to post something as I am a little bit short of photos made from a plane. stuny Posted July 30, 2011 Share #232 Posted July 30, 2011 Andreas got it, but since he is short on "from above" shots, anyone can post next.
LuxBob Posted July 31, 2011 Share #233 Posted July 31, 2011 Can I post this? If so I think it is not just necessary to post the city but the part of the city. There are two clues in the picture. The are hard to see but if you know the area they give it away. Welcome, dear visitor! LuxBob Posted August 1, 2011 Share #237 Posted August 1, 2011 London? That's right but what part of London? You are looking over a particular area and there are, as I said, two small clues. If it is too difficult I could give another clue.
