Some years ago we hired a Smart Cabriolet for the Monaco Historic GP week-end for ease of parking in Monaco. We were staying in a rather strange bed and breakfast just outside Menton up an extremely steep drive. Even in first gear at full throttle, the Smart would not go up the drive and was making nasty burning clutch smells, so we had to leave it and walk up. Not impressed! A 2CV would have chugged up with no problems at all.

Lets see,  a twin plug V-8 motor with dry-sump lubrication, '70s  CDI ignition ( Cosworth ? ) inboard rear disc brakes  and the tires and their size would indicate Can-Am era or similar technology - looks to be British-made / built..........consequently I'll guess we/re looking at a Lola, Surtees - with an outside chance that it's a Mclaren B6 Coupe.

Wilson -

Are you set-up again so you can post the next one?

Not really, as I only got home at midnight last night, so would greatly appreciate if someone else could assist with a new photo.
