Rona!d Posted April 30, 2011 Share #1003 Posted April 30, 2011 Hey, the "Hardware" (navigator' screen and graphics) looks identical to the one of my brand new Volvo V70 (*) !! Not the rest ... ... Audi ? (*) And with italian map onto, like mine, of course... Luigi, the navigator could be the same and well seen, it was in Italy. No Audi.

luigi bertolotti Posted May 1, 2011 Share #1006 Posted May 1, 2011 Conclusion: new cars are more difficult to recognize than old ... "D5" as mine... and a Vespa is always a nice companion..
Rona!d Posted May 1, 2011 Share #1007 Posted May 1, 2011 (edited) Advertisement (gone after registration) Come on, Luigi, please name the complete model and it´s your turn. This car partly fullfilled it´s swedish registration plate´s promise. Although it was a bit less "sporty" than other similar cars on small wet italian back roads. I would recommend it "empty nesters" who want to "downsize" but still want nice design. This is kind of B&O as a car. edit: Conclusion: new cars are more difficult to recognize than old ... Had that discussion with my dad recently. We were talking about 1920´s cars and he was right in saying "A lot of 1920´s cars had no OWN face and new cars are more easy to identify, although we think, it´s the other way around." luigi bertolotti Posted May 2, 2011 Share #1008 Posted May 2, 2011 (edited) VOLVO C30 ... maybe in the sport R Design version ? Btw, in Italy the "D5" version is not imported... If the engine is as mine, it must be indeed a fun to drive car (I like the "compact" Volvos, but with my 3 daughters still growing... ... even the new V60 seemed too little...) Rona!d Posted May 2, 2011 Share #1009 Posted May 2, 2011 Luigi, well done - it´s your turn! (This one - no sport edition- had 180 hp and about 400 Nm, maybe similar or even the same like your big Volvo?)
luigi bertolotti Posted May 2, 2011 Share #1010 Posted May 2, 2011 (edited) Luigi, well done - it´s your turn! (This one - no sport edition- had 180 hp and about 400 Nm, maybe similar or even the same like your big Volvo?) My V70 declares 205hp and 420Nm (flat from 1500 to 3250 rpm.. and indeed my first impressions, coming from an Alfa, had been of a powerful but "calm" engine) I'll found something to post... not before tonight... ... btw, I didn't catch your hint "..navigator could be the same..." Rona!d Posted May 2, 2011 Share #1011 Posted May 2, 2011 (edited) They are no sportscars, but I like the design very much. Very clean inside too (forgot the design line I liked most). OK, I´m getting older now Have you seen the new design study called "Concept Universe" shown in Shanghai? I was quit surprised! Nice side view, strange nose and a slight touch of good old PV on the bonnet. Edited May 2, 2011 by Rona|d

Rona!d Posted May 3, 2011 Share #1020 Posted May 3, 2011 I was thinking of an Inncocenti Mini, but somehow this does not appear to be a 100% original series model then, but with some modifications, so I didn´t try.
