  2. Here's a post of some pics I recently took with my Leica I Model C and Summar 5cm f2. Lots of Leica posts on my blog, just search "Leica." But, since this is my oldest Leica (ca. 1931), I thought it may be of interest. 3.
  4. Greeting Folks, Thought to share this image which I rather like; the oldest wine bar in London, photographed with a 1959 50mm Summilux on an M 240: Gordon's wine bar | Flickr - Photo Sharing! Cheers, Edmond :-)
  5. Hi I'm looking for advice on some cheap thrills for my M9.... I'm looking for a focal length greater than 50mm and has to be RF coupled so don't have to guess oh and it needs to be cheap, cheaper the better. I'm looking for something with a bit of character, bit of sharpness does harm but it does need to corner to corner or break any records. Thanks in advance
  6. I have been selling a clients camera collection recently. Most are Leicas. I have one that is in another language. Brown leather case has 3 letters stamped on it. Body # 94913 TpyAkommyha HKBA-YCCP XapbKOB Lens# 102327 (3 letters, 1:3,5 F=50 m/m) screw mount Anyone know anything that could help in my search????????
  7. Hi all, I've been "lurking" this forum for a long time trying to get as much information about vintage Leica's as I can, especially about fakes. I've stumbled across a Leica II I really like, but before I shell out the money for it I was wondering if you pros would have a look at it. Thanks! (and if all goes well I hope to be contributing to this forum a lot more in the near future) I'm currently thinking it's a fake most notably for the facts that: -the viewfinder bezel is squared off -the shutter release is flared -the body around the viewfinder juts out The thing i
  8. Hello everyone, I was lucky to have find this original 1950's Voigtlander Nokton 50mm 1.5. Can anyone tell what's the value of this vintage gem? I almost find no info on value from this original version. Thank you
