A couple of days ago, during the Workshop I am leading here in Asturias, we were talking about Tuscany and its amazing landscapes: I immediately started thinking about the beauty of this land in the fall, and realised once more that I can't wait to be back there very soon! This is Val d'Orcia, photographed during a Workshop I led there in November 2017. Leica SL, Leica APO-Vario-Elmarit-SL 90-280mm and Formatt-Hitech Firecrest filters. Thank you for viewing, best regards Vieri

Hi, I'd be interested to know what focus settings they use on the 90/280mm lens for fast moving objects, ie birds in full flight?

Headed on safari in a few weeks. Has anyone gone on one With the SL and the 90-280? Did you find that it was enough for you or did you have other lenses/bodies that you used more? I am worried that the 280 isn't enough and that the 24mp isn't enough for landscape/safari photos. Thank you in advance for your comments!

Hi, i am looking for some advice. I enjoy landscape / cityscape / street photography (I have a cl for street, it replaced my Fuji x-100t). I recently moved from Canon to the SL2. Still at the foothills of the learning curve. I have the 24-90 on the camera most of the time. I also have the Summicron 35 and the Sigma 14-24. I am swallowing hard at the cost of the 90-280 especially as I have a Mark I Canon 100-400. Now for the questions: Does anyone use canon’s Mark I 100-400 on the SL2? Are there alternatives which people could recommend which would take me up to around the 300mm maybe 400mm? Does not have to be a zoom. Sorry for the long question and thank you in advance

I'm going to buy a zoom. I am not sure whether to take a used 90-280 SL LEICA or the new PANASONIC 70.200 F2.8. Has anyone had the opportunity to try them both and make some difference? thank you
